Q: What does Simply Venues do?
A:  We are a site selection company. We assist our clients in locating the perfect venue as well as providing support throughout the contracting process.

Q:  What is a Simply Venues Venue Consultant? And what do they do?
A:  A Venue consultant is an independent contractor running their own business.  Leads are provided by Simply Venues. It is the Venue Consultant that will establish contact with client and venues, assist client with the contract and manage the venue selection process.

Q:  What work hours are available?
A:  You can set your own hours depending on your lead pipeline. Higher volume of contact may be on weekends. You can work as little or as much depending on your personal goals.

Q:  What is the total investment associated with becoming a Simply Venues Venue Consultant?
A:  The Venue consultant will need to maintain the following infrastructure at the VC’s own expense. 
Equipment Necessary:
Computer with up to date web browser, virus protection, and firewall software.
Telephone equipment & Fax line
Internet access

Q:  What is the process for becoming an Venue Consultant?
A: Following steps are established for you becoming a Team member:
Complete an online application
Conduct a phone interview
Complete an independent contractor agreement
Training

Q:  What are the work space and workstation requirements?
A:  Offering services through Simply Venues requires that your equipment be configured as follows:
A quiet workspace free of background noise
Broadband internet connection such as DSL or Cable (no dialup, no high speed dialup)
Internet Explorer, version 5.5 or 6.0.
Telephone, Fax and general office supplies

Q: How am I compensated?
A: All Simply Venue, Venue Consultants work as independent contractors on a 100% commission basis with an unlimited earning potential.

Q: How much money can a Venue Consultant expect to make?
A:  As a Simply Venues Independent Contracted Venue Consultant, you are running your own business, so how much you make is your business, too.  Simply Venues engage the services of Venue Consultants according to the work available from our clients.  Within those confines, you can work as little or as much as you like.  

Q:  How are my fees paid? How often?
A:  Venue Consultants submit invoices using a system provided by Simply Venues for fees accrued.  Simply Venues pays fees by check.  Fees are calculated from the 1st to the 15th and from the 16th to the end of every month.  Fees are paid (checks mailed) on the first business day following the close of an invoice period.

Q:  Does Simply Venues reimburse Venue Consultant’s expenses?  
A:  No. 

Q:  Does Simply Venues provide Venue Consultants with the physical tools to perform the services?  
A.  No.  You are expected to provide your own place of work, PC, internet connection, and telephone line.

Q:  Can my business provide service to Simply Venues on a part time basis?
A:  Yes.  The hours you provide service are entirely up to you.

Q:  Can I take vacations? How does that work?
A:  When you plan a vacation, you need to inform Simply Venues so we can re-route the leads to other Venue Consultants.

Q:  Does my business have to work out of the home?
A:  No, you are running your own business so you can provide services from any location you deem appropriate provided such location enables you to provide the services in accordance with technical and standards of performance requirements necessary to perform the services.  We frequently use the term "home-based agent" because many Venue Consultants provide services out of their homes.

Q:  Does Simply Venues provide training?  
A:  Training will be provided in the following 3 steps:
1: Web based training with our RFP system
2: Introduction to the Simply Venues own Intranet
3: Assessment training with Simply Venues representatives on how to offer the best service to our client and venue partners

Q:  Can Simply Venues unilaterally terminate my relationship?
A:  So long as your business produces results meeting the requirements of the Independent Contractors Agreement, such agreement cannot be terminated. Any violation of the set independent contractor’s agreement can cause termination.
